Isabelle went for her first pony ride on Monday at Gardner Village. She was so excited to ride and wasn't nervous or scared. We took her to see the other animals prior to the ride but she wanted nothing to do with the baby animals. All she wanted to do was ride the pony!

So Long, Farewell
On Sunday Melanie and Savannah came over to visit and have lunch. I guess you could call it a farewell gathering as they are headed off to Germany! Jason, Brady's brother, got assigned to an Army post over there. Typical oversea tours last roughly 3 years. They will have many wonderful opportunities in Germany and we will miss them terribly.
viel Glück Jason Melanie & Savannah!
Take A Picture, It Lasts Longer!
The other day I had a wild idea, why don't I spend some time cleaning Isabelle's play room? It took me, I'd say at least an hour, to put every single toy away. I organized the room by putting all the stuffed animals in one bin, balls in the other, dolls with their blankets, etc. I even counted all the pieces to her different toy sets and incredibly they were all there, not a single piece was missing, broken or out of place. I was so proud of my clean accomplishment and happy to see that none of her toys got lost in the move.
To unorganized chaos!!!
So now that her toy room is once again a disaster why did I even bother? I'm so glad she has her own play area to destroy because if I had to come home to my entire house looking like this every day I think I'd go crazy!
I can tolerate this for now, I just hope when she's older that she'll have some of her parent's clean and orderly traits.

The Bee's Playin' in the Rain
Last week the Tacoma Rainiers were in town for a 4 game stand against the Salt Lake Bee's. For those of you who don't know, Chris is with the Rainiers this season which means his entire family came out to support him in his hometown! It was so much fun watching him play and having his family home for awhile. Chris had 4 great games and played really well. Good luck this season Chris, we know you'll knock 'em dead!
Tacoma, WA holds a special place in our heart, that's where Brady and I spent the first part of our marriage while he was in the Army. Brady drove to Tacoma when the season started to take Chris his car and really enjoyed reminiscing about our past and showing Chris around the town. We hope to make it up to the Northwest sometime this summer.
