Things have been pretty mellow since Isabelle's birthday has passed. But she's constantly entertained with all of her new toys! She loves to play in her kitchen but can't say it right so she calls it her "chicken."
Grandma Sharon's birthday was last Saturday, the girls had a night out that included dinner and tarot card readings. We all found it quite interesting what the reader had to say about our lives and had fun telling each other what our cards meant over some delicious dinner.
We took Isabelle to her first movie in the theaters. We took her to UP and she loved every minute of it. We went to the dollar theater because we didn't want to waste too much money if she wasn't going to sit still. But boy, did she prove us wrong! She sat on her booster seat with a bag of popcorn and was mesmerized the entire time. I hope this wasn't pure luck but a sign of good things to come!
Isabelle has been sick the last few days and not feeling up to much of anything. Grandma Becky came to stay with us for a few days. She helped around the house and watched Isabelle on Friday while we were at work. It was really nice to spend time with her and to have her here. The remainder of the holiday weekend will be pretty low key.
Lastly, here's some pictures of our cute dogs, Tiger and Diesel. Kind of random, I know, but I don't think we've ever mentioned them in a post before. They are 3 years old and so good with Isabelle. Even though she terrorizes them to no end they put up with it. Tiger and Diesel have to sleep with us every night and I believe they think they are human.

I thought "UP" was kind of sad :( There is something about that big screen that will calm even the wildest child. (Of course it will do the opposite for some kids...we've all been to a movie and thought about strangling some obnoxious or loud child, haven't we?)
