This & That

My camera was missing for awhile but I finally got it back. Here's what's been happening with the Beckstead's for the last little bit...

Over the MLK holiday in January the boys (Brady, Chris, Rian & Zach) took a golfing trip down south. They hit the links at 4 different locations between Hurricane, UT and Coyote Springs, NV. During those 4 days away they really enjoyed their time together and their time away from the ladies.

I finally finished a few projects I started right after Christmas. I made some throw pillows for our family room and a bench cushion with some pillows. Although I'm very pleased with the results it was a good reminder of why I do not sew. I am not good and it nor do I have the patience for it.

Isabelle has moved to the next stage in her life, a big girl room! We decided it was time to advance from a crib and I think she feels really cool. She uses a stool to get up into her bed and she looks so little in a bed this size. I wish getting a new bed would cure the million excuses we receive nightly from her on reasons why we shouldn't put her to bed.

Brady and I decided to purchase things for our house for Christmas instead of buying gifts for each other. One of the things we bought was this amazing 5 piece clock that displays different time zones. We hung it up over our office doors and definitely adds some charm to our entry way.

Lastly, Happy Valentines day to the 2 loves of my life - Brady & Isabelle. They bring so much love and happiness into my life and I can't imagine what my life would be like without them. Brady is in the process of accomplishing some great achievements at work that's really starting to pay off considering the amount of work he's put forth over the last 4 years. I'm very proud of him for all that he does and the amount of love he brings to our family. Isabelle is growing like a weed and is learning more and more everyday. She never fails to amaze me with how much she picks up, she is growing up to be such a sweet and beautiful little girl. It makes my day when she sees me come home and shouts Mama over and over until she can get to me to give me a hug. I know there will be a time in the future when she will grow out of this so I'm embracing it while I can.

Happy Valentine's Day to all our friends and family. We love you and appreciate all the support and excitement that you bring into our lives!

Looks like you guys have been busy, but what else is new! Good work on the pillows and seat cushion seriously miss is there anything you can't do? I loved when we switched sienna out of the crib, but hate that she gets out all the time! Now she knows if she says she has to go potty it's a instint out. Casey got fed up and changed the door nob around with the lock on the outside (how mean are we!) We need to plan a date soon we miss you guys.
