We got a new family camera just in time for the holidays. We took a bunch of pictures with it on Christmas but now the dang memory card is giving us fits. The camera is telling us it can't read it and to change cards, and we can't get the images downloaded to the computer either. I really hope this doesn't mean we've lost all our pictures.
Here's a few pictures I took with my old camera during the last month or so, I know it's not much but maybe later we can figure out what's going on with our new one.
Luke, our elf on the shelf, made his debut this year. Isabelle was extremely excited to find out where he was hiding everyday. When he left to go home with Santa she was really sad. Isabelle was really excited to sit on Santa's lap this year, she could hardly wait her turn. There's something so magical about Christmas when you have a child who believes in all the wonderful joys Christmas brings. Isabelle was so intrigued by all the different decorations on the Christmas trees of every one we visited. She had to take time to slowly walk around each tree and examine what type of ornaments were hanging. This is the first Christmas that I believe she actually understood what was going on, which made it one of the best Christmases for us.
The stockings that Santa stuffed on Christmas morning...
This picture was taken the Monday after Christmas, we got to enjoy a lazy day home with no work and this was her outfit choice for the day. I know if Isabelle was older she would be absolutely embarrassed that I would post this for everyone to see, but as a mother, I couldn't resist!
By the way, in less than a month our new pride and joy will be arriving. I believe we've got everything ready to go. And I'm feeling great even though this pregnancy thing is getting a bit old... we can't wait to meet our little guy!

ha ha ha that last picture kills me!!! Sienna was looking at this and saw Mr. Elf (that's what she named ours, poor guy never got a real name) and started freaking out trying to find him! I agree Christmas is magical with kids around, it brings back all the fun and excitement. Can't wait to meet the newest member of your family!
